- Tournaments that allow for re-entries are specified as re-entry, freezeout tournament do not allow for re-entry.
- All tournaments (except the PPLC) will have the option for an add-on at the first break. Add-on details will be posted on the scoreboard at Pop's during the tournament.
- Early registration begins 30 minutes prior to the start of the tournament.
- Late registration ends after the 10 minute break after LEVEL 5.
- All listed tournaments are "league qualifying tournaments" unless otherwise noted.
Pop's Poker League championship rules
League
Pop's Poker League Championship (PPLC) rewards PERFORMERS, REGULARS, EARLY BIRDS and FINAL TABLES too!
$5 will be collected from every entry from each qualifying tournament (from the prizepool), which will be held as the prizepool, for a “league championship” tournament at the end of a specified qualifying period, for all qualified players.
The league championship will be held at Pop's Poker on a specific date and time to be posted on the website and inside at Pop’s Poker, prior to the start of each series...see schedule for dates.

How Players Qualify for the PPLC
In order to qualify, you must play a “qualifying” tournament. The buyin and fees will be posted, including the $5 league fee for each tournament (if applicable), prior to the start of the tournament. Pop's reserves the right to hold tournaments that are NOT qualifying tournaments in addition to the qualifying tournaments.
The number of PPLC seats will be limited to a specific amount (typically 45-50 seats) that will be set prior to the start of the series and posted along with the schedule online (www.popspoker.com) and at Pop’s Poker.
Players may qualify for a seat in the PPLC in one of four ways, by either being a top "performer" a top "regular" a top "Early Bird" or a top "Final Table" qualifier as follows:
PERFORMERS --- Pop’s will calculate your total cumulative “cashes” and rank you relative to other players’ cashes. The top “performers” (½ of the available seats, typically 20 seats) will be guaranteed a seat.
REGULARS --- We will calculate your total cumulative “buyins" + "addons” and rank you relative to other players’ buyins + addons. The top “regulars” (½ of the available seats, typically 20 seats) will be guaranteed a seat.
If there are ties for the last spot at the cut line for either performers or regulars, the players who are tied at the cut line will qualify for the PPLC and receive an invitation.
EARLY BIRDS --- We will calculate the total # of tournaments that you registered BEFORE the posted start time. There will (typically) be 5 seats available for "early birds" who do not already qualify as a Performer, or a Regular. Ties in this category DO NOT automatically qualify, the ties are broken by comparing the total number of tournaments played in the season, then cumulative buyins, then cumulative cashes (if necessary).
FINAL TABLES --- We will calculate the total # of tournaments that you reached the final table of 10 players. There will (typically) be 5 seats available for "final tables" who do not already qualify as a Performer, a Regular or an Early Bird. Ties in this category DO NOT automatically qualify, the ties are broken by comparing the total number of tournaments played in the season, then cumulative buyins, then cumulative cashes (if necessary).
You cannot qualify for more than one seat, even if you technically qualify in different groups of qualifiers. For example: It is possible that a highly ranked "regular" is also a highly ranked “performer” or qualifies as and "Early Bird" yet that player will only be awarded one seat.
Players cannot substitute another player for their seat. Qualified players must be the one who plays in that seat. Specific seats and table assignments will be determined at the point of registration on the day of the PPLC.
If a qualified player does not show up to play in the PPLC by the end of the late registration period on the day of the PPLC, their seat will be forfeited.
League Championship Structure

Other Rules
- Only qualified players may play, you cannot "buyin" to the league championship.
- Pop's reserves the right to change the series schedule at any time (adding or removing tournaments).
- Pop's reserves the right to change the frequency of the league championships.
- Pop's reserves the right to take fees out of the collected prizepool money to pay for staffing.
- Pop's reserves the right to adjust the structure of the league championship, prior to the start of the PPLC.
- Pop’s reserves the right to adjust the structure of the league series prior to the start of the series.
- League results will be posted weekly to the PopsPoker.com website.
- Players will be informed by text message if they qualify for the PPLC. Please make sure that you are receiving our weekly texts so you don't miss anything. This includes making sure that we have your correct cell phone number and that your phone is not blocking (or in a spam filter) any messages from our texting service 804-293-3589. Also, if you have previously opted-out of our texts, you will need to make sure that you are opted-in.
- Players are allowed to chop 75% of the prizepool, however, the tournament must be played out for the remainder of the prizepool to determine a Champion! Chops are facilitated by the tournament director, and remaining prizes are calculated as part of the chop based on Pop's Poker's chop calculation, which is based on our standard payout structure.
