VDACS has re-opened the regulations for charitable gaming with regard to poker, for public comment.
Public comments are open through February 14th @ 11:59pm. We are now asking for quality comments OVER quantity. Delegate Wren Williams and Delegate Kim Taylor have already entered comments that are consistent with what we have determined are necessary changes to the regulations.

I am <enter your name and role such as player, dealer, charitable recipient>. For the reasons stated therein, I strongly support Del. Wren Williams' comment submitted on February 7, 2024, and Del. Kim Taylor's on these regulations. I hope you will adopt his suggested changes. Thank you.
We wish to create and maintain a Charitable Gaming Poker room that serves the public with high quality, professionally run poker that raises money for charity. Our mission is four fold:
Pop’s Poker is a locally owned, family run, business that endeavors to preserve the integrity of the game, to provide excellent customer service, to ensure a safe and secure place for people to enjoy their pastime, and to promote the fun and general welfare of the game to our patrons. We are the first, and largest card room of its kind in the State of Virginia and we run a first class operation giving our players a true “Vegas style” poker playing experience.
