VIDEO EXPLANATION

REGISTRATION

Players must present a Pop’s Player’s Card in order to be eligible for a Double Jackpot Poker Tournament.   Cards may be acquired by presenting a valid State or Official USA issued ID.

You must be 18 years old in order to play.

You must be a member of Richmond Lodge No. 1 of the Good Lions.  You can register as a member when you come to register for your first tournament.  We will place a sticker on your Pop's Poker card that signifies that you are a member.

Players are required to pay a one time (per day) $10 house fee as posted, in order to register for any tournament.  This house fee will cover the house fee for the player for any and all tournaments that they play in for that day. There will be no additional fees collected for the remainder of the tournament which means no additional fees for rake, jackpot or tips throughout the tournament.

Initial registrations are available at the cage ONLY. Tournament chips will be available at the table for buyins.  Players must give their receipt for registration into the Double Jackpot Poker Tournament Flight to the dealer.  

FLIGHTS

There will be multiple flights throughout the day.  The flights will begin at:

4pm, 6pm, 8pm, 10pm (subject to modifications, please see official schedule for the month).

A player can register for only one flight at a time.  Flights will last two (2) hours each.  At the conclusion of the flight, there will be a "Flight Jackpot" / "Rollover" period, at which point each player's chips will be counted and a value calculated for each player.  The player then has the option to receive the value of their entry by taking the "Flight Jackpot" award, OR "Rollover" their chips to another flight.  There are no additional fees to rollover.  See "Flight End" below for a more in depth explanation.

CHIPS

All players will start with 20,000 in chips.

Players must keep their chips in play for the entire duration of the flight.  Players who take a break and get up from the table, must leave their chips in play, and your stack will be blinded off until they return or the end of the flight.  Any awards, or jackpots will be posted to your account.

ADDONS

Addons will be available from the floor (or cage) personnel at the table during the addon period.  The addon period is within the first three hours of the start of the tournament that day only, and cannot be used to increase your stack beyond the starting stack. You cannot addon if you are busted an completely out of chips.  Addon fees are posted for each tournament.

BUSTING

If you bust from the tournament, meaning you have lost all of your chips you are out of that tournament for the day.  If a player has “busted” they can always buy into another Multi-Table or Double Jackpot Poker Tournament, if one is running, and there is availability.

FLIGHT END

At the end of each flight, each player remaining at the table will have their chips counted, this is known as their "Last Chip Count" for that flight.  This will be entered into the system and their "Flight Jackpot" value will be calculated.  The player then has the option to either accept the Flight Jackpot Award, or "Rollover" their entry into a subsequent flight.

FLIGHT JACKPOT

Players who elect to take their Flight Jackpot Award will be issued a receipt that is redeemable at the cage for the value of their Flight Jackpot.  Any awards or jackpots not redeemed within 30 days will be forfeited.

ROLLOVER

If a player chooses to rollover into another flight, they will be placed on a "rollover" waiting list and given priority over new entries to continue to play.  Their entry into the next available flight as a rollover entry means that they will carry over their ENTIRE chip stack and flight jackpot value with them into the next flight.

TOURNAMENT END

All tournaments will end at midnight.

TOURNAMENT WINNER

The tournament winner will be the player who has the highest chip count at the end of the last flight of the tournament at midnight. This is known as their "final chip count" and it is what determines the winner of the Double Jackpot Tournament.

DAILY JACKPOT

A portion (as posted) of the buyins and the addons will be held aside for the "Daily Jackpot" prizepool. The Daily Jackpot will be awarded to the players who accumulated the most chips and completed in the tournament without busting until the end of the tournament. 

Players who compete until the end of the tournament without busting will receive their "Flight Jackpot" and qualify for the "Daily Jackpot" too.  There is no rollover after the last flight.  

Since they survived until the official end of the tournament, their stack will be counted for the flight jackpot and this count of their chips is known as the "Final Chip Count."

Their Final Chip Count is then used in the calculation of their Daily Jackpot, according to the following formula:

• The tournament winner will receive 5% of the Daily Jackpot prizepool.
• The top 50% of players who survive the FINAL flight of the day (including the winner), will receive an equal portion of 75% of the Daily Jackpot prizepool.
• The bottom 50% of players who survive the FINAL flight of the day, will receive an equal portion of 25% of the Daily Jackpot prizepool.

Daily Jackpots will be awarded directly to each players' account accordingly and will be redeemable for FOOD and DRINK at Pop's Poker ONLY.  Daily Jackpots are not redeemable for cash and do not expire.

We are unable at this time to honor any credits on account from any previous period of time.  All daily jackpots will be posted to your account the following day after the tournament.
